Welcome to LWRMSblog, a new blog for the Lower Waitaki River Management Society Inc.

This is the place where updates will be posted about LWRMS activities in and around the Lower Waitaki River, particularly our work for the conservation of the southern sub-population of Canterbury Mudfish (Neochanna burrowsius). This species is Critically Threatened, and has a tenuous future without direct human intervention to protect and enhance its habitat.
